The 26th edition of the Habitacola Awards challenged participants to design spaces emerging from buildings that are abandoned or not inaugurated or about to be demolished or underused from anywhere in the world. Shortlisted works will be also contestants of the “Best Design of the Year” exhibition.

Brazil’s Five New Stadiums for the 2014 FIFA World Cup

Out of the 12 venues for the 2014 World Cup, five cities will have brand new venues built specifically for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The lucky cities are Brazil’s capital Brasília, São Paulo, Cuiabá, Manaus, and Natal.
Here is a list of the architecture studios behind the five new stadiums.

Obra Social “la Caixa” presents “Sorolla. The colour of the sea” exhibition explores the recurring themes of Joaquin Sorolla: sea scenes. An exhibition full of mastery that speaks of his great nostalgia for the sea during his childhood.
